Jon Landau: Academy Award Winning Producer

On Thursday December 9th, CommTech and Specialist High Skills Major students braved the wintery conditions and went to TheMuseum in Kitchener to attend an exclusive engagement. At TheMuseum, Jon Landau; Academy Award Winning Producer, was a guest speaker! Mr. Landau discussed the making of both Titanic and Avatar and briefly discussed some future plans for Avatar 2 and 3. Mr. Landau was an inspiring speaker.

Students asked questions during the event and were privileged enough to meet Mr. Landau personally after his talk. All students received an autograph and several of them were able to hold his Oscar. This was truly an exceptional experience. At CHSS, we are always looking for opportunities to provide students with real world experiences. We were the only students lucky enough to be able to attend this particular event. It was a sold out show.
