July 8, 2010
The Learning Partnership is pleased to be working with WiN (Women in Nuclear) and their partners in creating a new learning resource for release in the fall of the 2010-2011 academic year.

The Learning Partnership is pleased to be working with WiN (Women in Nuclear) and their partners in creating a new learning resource for release in the fall of the 2010-2011 academic year. Educators will be able to access both the engaging video focusing on careers in the nuclear sector and the accompanying educators resource guide. The video is targeted for students from grades 6-12 to provide them with information about careers in the nuclear sector, an area where there is a current and anticipated need in the that segment of the labour market.

Please inform your colleagues and Board contacts in the elementary and secondary panel about this new resource available for their use starting this fall; especially those teaching: Guidance, Careers, Co-operative Education, applicable Specialist High Skills Majors (Energy, Environment), Math, Science, Technology,  and Geography.
